Raised in the quiet, mountainside town of Vernon, NJ, Justin is a professional actor and singer based out of the New York City area. He has appeared most notably in Dave Malloy's hit off-Broadway musical Octet (as Toby/The Magician) at the Signature Theatre, NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live starring John Legend, Sara Bareilles & Brandon Victor Dixon, guest starred on Law & Order: SVU, and has performed on stages all over the US.
Most recently, Justin was a featured soloist in Leonard Bernstein’s Mass at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by James Gaffigan and directed by Alison Moritz. He was part of the world premiere of the dance musical A Crossing at Barrington Stage which took home top honors at the 2021 Berkshire Theatre Critics Association Awards (Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Ensemble, among others), and took on the role of Orlando in the new musical adaption of Shakespeare’s As You Like It at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre before reprising his role in the West Coast premiere of Octet at Berkeley Repertory Theatre.
You can hear him on the Grammy-nominated Jesus Christ Superstar Live on NBC album as well as on the original LIVE cast recording of the Lucille Lortel Award-winning musical Octet, currently available for download and on most streaming services. Justin is honored to share the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance with his seven cohorts from the original off-Broadway cast (Adam Bashian, Kim Blanck, Starr Busby, Alex Gibson, J.D. Mollison, Margo Seibert and Kuhoo Verma) for their "pitch-perfect" performances in the a cappella musical about tech addiction.
In addition to his theatrical career, Justin is also a singer in the band Atomic Funk Project as well as a nightclub entertainer on Manhattan's Upper East Side appearing regularly at Brandy's Piano Bar. He currently lives in NJ with his wife and fellow performer Isabel Santiago. He is a member of the Actors Equity Association and client of Hudson Artists Agency.
